Welcome to all Celebrants and thank you for visiting our website.

MAREAA aims to continue fostering a working relationship between Celebrants and Relationship Educators.We are here to assist you to have a discussion with your client’s that is comfortable and informative and provides the very best outcome for them.

Marriage and Relationship Education is an adult education activity designed to inform and enrich relationships and individuals at various stages of their relationship.

Programs are offered through agencies and private practitioners throughout Australia and can be found using Yellow Pages and Google. All MAREAA members adhere to the association’s Code of Ethics for Marriage, Relationship and Family Educators and aim to maintain a high standard of practice. (Link)

Relationship education is NOT counseling.

It is hoped, that in the not too distant future, certain Relationship Education agencies and private practitioners will be able to offer celebrants specific ongoing professional development programs.

Informal ‘education’ can also be encouraged. Visit our links section for web sites that give information and resources for couples and celebrants to access.

Please contact the state contact person if you require more information of activities available in your area and or visit web sites such as Family Relationships Online where you or your couples can access a wide range of services available throughout Australia.
